Ancient World Tours – Astronomy World ToursAWT specialises in tours that explore sites with archaeological and cultural interest - we have a wealth of experience and have been operating for many years. This love of history and culture has seen us expand so that we now offer in depth and unusual tours to many of the great classical civilizations; from the Andes to Angkor Wat. We are also now establishing ourselves as a serious operator of astronomically-based tours (the eclipse being the most obvious example) which we try to tie in with our ethos of visiting wonderful sites off the standard tourist trail. We work closely with eclipse consultant Sheridan Williams.
It is not too early to put your name down for our next total eclipse tour to China in August 2008! The viewing locations will be far from the hustle and bustle of the Olympics. Severral tours are available allowing you to see the Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall etc. These tours will be available by advance registration (no financial commitment but guaranteed first chance to book).
Ancient World Tours are also doing several trips to view the eclipse in Russia.
